“ Good location for a quick bite and coffee when driving up to the mountain. We got a coffee and sandwiches. The food was great quality and they have something for everyone. Food and drinks came out quick and it's a cozy atmosphere. You can also buy local food and snacks in the shop right in front. ”
“ We had the chicken Pot pie and roast beef sandwich, both are really good. I love the crust of the pie, the sauce of the sandwich is so good and delicious. We also had the cafe au lait and mocha, they are all very very good. There are plenty of sitting area, the restroom is clean, there is a microwave to heat up the chicken Pot pie. Price is very reasonable and service is also good. Worth a 5 stars, highly recommend. ”
“ Whoh! This Tahoe House Bakery is amazing! Everything is looking and tasting delicious! The service is fast and the ambiance is happy and happy! You must stop for your favorite treat when you are near by. ”
“ We got a chocolate fudge cake with Bavarian cream and raspberries half sheet cake from Tahoe House Bakery for a group event at Granlibakken, and it was super delicious and decadent with a deep, dark chocolate flavor offset by the tartness of the berries. Despite the richness of the cake, it earned the highest Chinese praise for a dessert: "not too sweet." Not only was the cake amazing, the staff there were friendly and courteous, helping to wheel the cake to our car to make sure it got transported back to the party intact. Tahoe House will be our go-to place for celebration cakes whenever we are up in North Tahoe from now on. ”
“ This place is adorable and crowded... like adorably crowded. I had Pastrami sandwich, I few bites of my mom's shrimp salad, and then we almost killed each other with our forks trying to get more of the trout. Next time, if they still have it, I am getting my own trout. We also got some cookies and sweets for later. It was so busy when we went, and I got the feeling that their rush time and open hours are exactly the same. So bring your patience with you, I promise it's worth the line. The employees were friendly and the line moved fairly well. And there was no shortage of places to sit. ”
“ We stopped in here this summer while staying up in Tahoe City. What a treat! Obviously it's a well loved place as there was a decent line both days we popped in. Staff worked hard to get through the line quickly and friendly. The chocolate croissants were my families favorite. I also picked up two breakfast veggie burritos to go which were delicious heated up back at home. I recommend this place to some friends staying in Tahoe also and they loved it. ”
“ What a great spot ! I needed a cake and they had a few ready to go , carrot cake was excellent, they weren't able to customize same day but offered an alternative "happy birthday " plate to put on top and it looked perfect! I also grabbed a Chicken Pot pie, to bake at home , since they're frozen it must be thawed overnight but was worth the wait! They have loafs of freshly baked bread and offer sandwiches , sweet baked goods, Gourmet crackers , other food items and wine! Women behind the counter were very patient managing the crowd and took care of my decision making -so many options- with a smile . Highly recommend Tahoe house ”
“ Great bakery to stop at when you're in North Lake Tahoe. The chicken pot pie and cinnamon roll are deelish. It can get crowded, and parking is limited, so get there early. ”
“ Get the chicken pot pies! The flakey crust and delicious chicken and veggie filling makes this pot pie a winner! You can get the pies ready to eat or take them home frozen ready to bake in single serve or family size. They also offer numerous delicious looking desserts and sandwiches. In addition to the pot pies we enjoyed a moist carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. There's a cute indoor dining area and outdoor seating area as well, but we took ours to go. Parking is ample out front and we had no trouble fitting our RV van. This is a popular place, but don't be discouraged if you see a line, it moves fast! ”
“ Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet in Lake Tahoe is a solid 4-star spot for breakfast and baked goods. Here's what I experienced: Great for Pups and People: They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area even has a special spot for dogs to relax and get some water. This is a big plus for pet owners! However, be aware that parking can be tricky. The lot is small, and the place is always busy, especially on the weekends. Busy But Worth It: I went at 7:30 am on a Saturday, and the line was out the door. There was a bit of a wait (around 5 minutes), but the service itself was very fast. A Mini-Market of Deliciousness: This place is like a one-stop shop for breakfast and treats. They have a huge variety, including frozen food, wine, grab-and-go options, bagels, all sorts of breads, pastries, beverages, and even cakes. It's a bit overwhelming at first! Solid Eats and Helpful Staff: Luckily, the staff was super friendly. The lady helping me noticed I was a bit lost with all the choices and offered some suggestions. I ended up getting a jalapeno bagel with cream cheese (they have a toaster where you can toast it if you want) and a chai latte. The bagel was delicious, although I would have loved to see more spread options beyond cream cheese. The chai latte was also decent, especially compared to some other coffee shops in the area. Reasonable Prices: Overall, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The staff's helpfulness and the wide variety of options make this a great spot. Just be prepared for a potential wait, especially on weekends, and keep the parking situation in mind. ”
